Valhalla Neighborhood Entrance

VALHALLA NEIGHBORHOOD – BATON ROUGE, LA

Pinnacle constructed the neighborhood entrance for Valhalla, a new Turnkey neighborhood entry built by Dantin Bruce Developments off of Highland Road in Baton Rouge. The scope of work included an old brick veneered bridge with brick columns and reclaimed cypress three rail fence, in addition to custom fabricated and powder coated entry gates with remote access automation. CMU block vertical masonry, veneered in old brick with a traditional running bond pattern, provided depth and height to the uniquely designed signage. Multiple styles of fencing set the boundaries between the public and the private homes of this development. A 3600 linear foot, all cypress, perimeter fence was built around the neighborhood. The finishing touch was the pigeonnier (or guard tower) including stick framing, old brick veneer, cypress shutters, slate roof with ridge tiles, and a gas lantern. Accent lighting and landscape softened up this one-of-a-kind, high-end, private community entrance.
