Bulkheads + Retaining Walls
Pinnacle constructs both residential and commercial timber and vinyl bulkheads, as well as retaining walls. The most cost-effective way to protect your land from erosion is to install a bulkhead or retaining wall. A bulkhead is very similar to a retaining wall as they have the same functionality. The significant or critical difference between them is this: A retaining wall has soil on both sides of the wall while a bulkhead keeps earth on one side of the wall and has water on the other side.
Retaining walls are rigid walls used to support soil mass so that the soil can be kept at different levels on the two sides.
Timber (wooden) bulkheads are the most cost-effective bulkhead option from a cost perspective.
Vinyl bulkheads are the most durable and long-lasting bulkhead available.
