Americana Development Courtyard

This courtyard was created for the Americana Development Community Space in Zachary, LA. The scope of work included a large round concrete courtyard, consisting of multiple radii, with the intent of focusing the eye on the center of the space. The focal point is a custom circular water fountain feature wrapped in old brick, with a sugar cube finish cast stone cap. Saw cut lines in the surrounding concrete break up the immense courtyard. The architect challenged our crews designing rough cut pine pergolas with intentional curved edges, keeping in line with the circular design of the rest of the space. Benches, oversized flowerpots, and lighting helped to create spaces that were both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
